Nanny/Childcare The focus of the nanny will be on childcare, play and providing activities for the development of the children. Additional nursery duties will include preparing healthy meals and snacks, tidying up the children’s area, bedrooms and bathrooms and all general tasks related to the children inside and outside the family home. Professional nannies will not be required to carry out housekeeping duties.
In the UK candidates can have a variety of different childcare qualifications, some of which include:
CACHE, BTEC, CITY & GUILDS, NNEB, NVQ, MONTESSORI, MNT, NORLAND DIPLOMA, CHILTERN Arabia Staffing places focus on candidate experience, certification and candidate/family fit. Our candidates are over the age of 21 and will have a minimum of two years experience + qualifications. There are, also, candidates who do not have formal qualifications but have years of practical experience and make excellent childcarers; we will bring these candidates to your attention, too.
Nanny-PA combination There is increasing request by families for nannies to be involved in administrative duties for the children and family; particularly if the children are older and at school so there is time throughout the day. This can be beneficial for the nanny, too, as it means an extra skill on her/his resume. Expected duties should be clearly stated in the contract before candidates commence a new position.
